Baby Name advice needed please….?
Hello- I am expecting my first baby this fall and am trying to think of a good Muslim-based name for my son
I like the name “Isa” after the prophet Jesus and the Bosnian name “Suad” [sue- ahd] to honor my husband’s homeland
So I wanted the combination of “Isasuad” [ee- saw-sue- ahd]
Any opinions, advice? I am American and I know how people may feel like its very unusual but my huband and I have unusual names so I like to carry on the trend : )
I Isasuad is a bit of a mouthful. But I understand why you like it. I’m not Muslim myself but I have a lot of Muslim-American friends.
I would suggest a name that has a connection to a commonly used American name like Yakob or Yousef. However my all time favorite Arabic name for a boy is Sharif. I also love Navid, Kareem, & Kassim.
