When did you start taking your babies out in public?
I was just curious about when other mothers started taking their babies out in public. My daughter is three weeks and one day and I am going to take her out tomorrow to Wal-Mart for the first time.
And will putting a thin blanket over the car seat or stroller help?
I see lots of mothers doing this and was just wondering if it helps at all?
I took my son out a couple weeks after he was born. I needed to do some grocery shopping and since he is breastfed, I just took him with me. He was born in January, so it was very cold here, and I put blankets over his car seat while taking him to the car, then once we got to the store, I put him in his carrier and put 2 blankets over that.
